For as long as I’ve carried a pistol I’ve been baffled how dudes carry these obnoxious pistols appendix without tearing up their stomach. Then one day it hit me, these are skinny dudes who clearly lack the gut dimensions like most of us. In that moment I started to search for a padded option that didn’t challenge my ability to remain a man.

After scouring the web I discovered the Black Arch Single Clip Protos-M appendix holster and I haven’t looked back since. The kydex is great, no sharp edges, positive adjustable retention but the real star is the mesh backed, leather backer. As a resident of South Florida under shirts aren’t an option so we raw dog all of our concealed carry options. The padding isn’t obnoxious and conceals like similar holsters without it, the only real difference is the amount of comfort you’ll find from the padding. 

So if you’ve got a little healthy fluff and are tired of getting shredded especially when carrying appendix while driving, sitting, bending over etc. this might be a good option for you.
